Our story
The Instituto Cultural Amazônia do Amanhã (ICAA), created 8 years ago by journalist and social entrepreneur Liane Gaby, is a non-profit organization committed to promoting and preserving the cultural heritage and sustainability of the Amazon.
ICAA's projects seek to generate opportunities that empower the people of the region, building a legacy for society. In addition to conceiving, capturing and executing cultural projects, the institute offers consultancy services in cultural management, production and organization of events, training, professional, and managerial development, museum activities and exploration of historic places and buildings.
In almost a decade of existence, ICAA has been built on the collaborative thinking of a proactive and multidisciplinary team. Professionals with different qualifications and expertise who follow the main global trends, with the aim of contributing to the future of the region. In addition, for carrying out and maintaining projects, the institute has a group of partner companies and organizations that believe in strengthening and promoting culture and sustainable development in the North Region.
Our team
Liane Gaby
Journalist, graduated from UFPA and post-graduated in Communication and Politics in the Public Service from the School of Government of the State of Pará. It has been operating in the business market and in the area of cultural production for over 22 years. Liane is the president of the ICAA.
Verena Aquino
Entrepreneur, administrator, social cook graduated from SENAC - RJ and owner of the company Vê Gourmet. She has been working in the field of Gastronomy since 2010. Verena is ICAA's technical producer.
Luis Fernando Machado
Journalist, graduated from UFPA and post-graduated in Scientific Communication and Projects for the Development of Amazon Areas - NAEA/UFPA. With extensive experience in corporate communication, advisory and crisis management. Acts as a technical producer at ICAA.
